PORTLAND, Ore. 10/27/2025 — From the fan-favorite co-creators behind Spread—Justin Jordan, John Bivens, and Felipe Sobreiro—comes a brutal blend of horror, sci-fi, and survival in the upcoming Malevolent. This ongoing series is set to launch in January from Image Comics.

Bivens added: “I’ve been trying to get Justin and Felipe to work with me again since the end of Spread! Being annoyingly persistent (plus finding a way around their spam blockers) finally paid off and now we are making something awesome!!!”
“Malevolent is pure mayhem and monsters, and it’s been awesome to work with John and Felipe to try and out crazy our last comic,” said Jordan. “I think we just about managed it.”
